Well these past couple of days of cycling have been pretty intense. From Parker, we rode 110 miles. That was a long day. At one point we rode probably 30 miles in a straight line. I almost fell asleep a couple times while riding...It is also exciting because we have officially biked over 1000 miles now. I still can't believe that I have biked that much. It feels like I have been cycling now for about a year, but it has only been about 3 weeks. But time is also moving pretty quickly. We only have about a month and half left. That is pretty hard to believe.
Yesterday we arrived in Tempe and we have the day off today, which is nice. Yesterday was really cool because we had a police escort and rode through downtown Phoenix. We were greeted by fellow Pi Kapp brothers from the chapter at Arizona State University and lunch! For our friendship visit we played another wheelchair basketball game! I have to say that we have improved, but we were still slaughtered by the home team. Some of the guys are awesome. I'm not really sure how they do it. Lodging is also great because we are staying in the dorms of ASU and we get real beds! Tonight we are having a pool party and BBQ which is going to be great to relax before our ride tomorrow. I heard tomorrow is going to be pretty tough. It is about 80 miles with a gradual climb in elevation.
